Mrs Kumar, holding on tightly, couldn’t help but smile at their uncontainable joy. The family tried quad biking and sandboarding, their efforts met with equal parts success and excitement. As the sun set, they gathered under a blanket of stars, enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner and live dance performances that celebrated the rich culture of the Arabian desert.

Their exploration of the Global Village was one of a kind. They witnessed towering replicas of the world’s most iconic monuments, indulged in regional feats, and even took part in the games that were being played there.

Awe-Inspiring Discoveries

Their journey continued with visits to Dubai’s architectural marvels. At the Burj Khalifa, the children were captivated by the view from the observation deck, comparing the buildings below to tiny toys. 

At the Dubai Frame, the family was humbled by the contrast between the city’s past and present. They listened intently to the guide’s stories, appreciating how Dubai had preserved its heritage while embracing modernity. The experience deepened their admiration for the city and its people.

A visit to the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark & Lost Chambers Aquarium added another layer of wonder. The children pressed their faces against the glass, mesmerised by the marine life. When they asked why a shark wasn’t eating a nearby ray, Mrs Kumar chuckled softly and replied, “They’re like Tom and Jerry—playful friends in their own way.”

There was a certain enchantment in watching the diverse marine life up so close, and the experience truly moved the family to the core. They learned about new animals and the underwater ecology, further enriching their trip and enhancing their knowledge. The guide was very kind to answer all the questions and queries of the people, explaining every detail with patience.

The real test for the guide was when the family visited the Dubai Frame and had almost a zillion questions to ask about the transition of the city. The stark contrast between Old Dubai and New Dubai brought out the real story behind the glory of the destination, and the family listened to the entire journey with awed faces and gaping mouths.

Generosity and Gratitude

The family adventure climaxed at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi. The thrill of the rides and the awe of the stunt show left them speechless. Although thrilled by the show of speeding vehicles, the visit to the Ferrari World left them with no complaints at all.

The most memorable part of this visit was riding the Rossa Formula, the fastest roller coaster in the world. To be honest, almost everybody had underestimated the ride, only after they got down from their seats did they realise what a whirlwind of an experience it was!

Despite their packed schedule, the family made time to visit the souks of Old Dubai, carefully selecting souvenirs for loved ones back home—a gesture that reflected their thoughtfulness and love for family.

As they prepared to board their flight, their suitcases were heavier than expected, both with treasures and memories. While the extra luggage fee was an unexpected hiccup, it was met with laughter and a shared understanding that the trip had been worth every moment.
