One of the most anticipated parts of the itinerary was the excursion towards Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. The route is known for its dramatic mountain scenery, high-altitude landscapes, and ever-changing weather conditions.

During Chintamani's visit, the region experienced heavy snowfall, transforming the landscape into a spectacular winter scene. While the weather made access to some planned attractions difficult, it also showcased a different side of the mountains.
