Others are about slowing down, soaking in the moment, and letting a destination surprise you in quiet, unexpected ways. For Richa Phadake and her partner Sanket Gore, this six-day journey to Vietnam was very much the latter. Planned as a relaxed island escape rather than a packed sightseeing sprint, their holiday in Phu Quoc unfolded as a blend of leisure, scenic beauty, and thoughtfully curated experiences.

From the early planning stages, the couple wanted a vacation that felt easy. No rushing between cities, no constant packing and unpacking. Just one destination, explored deeply, with enough structure to feel organised and enough free time to truly unwind. With Thrillophilia handling the logistics, that vision translated seamlessly into reality.

A Calm Beginning in Phu Quoc

The journey began with their arrival at Phu Quoc International Airport, where a smooth private transfer set the tone for the days ahead. There was no confusion, no waiting around, just a comfortable drive straight to their hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day was intentionally kept free.

This first evening was about settling in. The couple explored the nearby surroundings at their own pace, took in the coastal atmosphere, and simply allowed themselves to transition from daily routines into holiday mode. It was a gentle start, exactly what they needed after travel, and it helped them ease into the rhythm of island life.

An Evening of Lights at Mega Grand World

Day two introduced them to a livelier side of Phu Quoc with a visit to Mega Grand World. As evening approached, the destination transformed into a vibrant spectacle of lights, architecture, and themed spaces. The atmosphere felt playful yet relaxed, making it an enjoyable experience without being overwhelming.

Walking through the illuminated streets, enjoying the energy of the place, and capturing moments together became the highlight of the evening. It was not about rushing from one attraction to another but about experiencing the space as it came alive after sunset. The private transfers ensured the entire experience felt comfortable and unhurried, allowing them to return to their hotel without stress.

Soaring Above the Sea to Hon Thom Island

The third day brought one of the most visually memorable experiences of the trip. The journey to South Island and Hon Thom Island included a scenic cable car ride, offering sweeping views of the ocean below. Suspended above clear blue waters, the ride itself felt like an attraction rather than just a means of transport.

Once on the island, the pace slowed again. The surroundings encouraged quiet appreciation rather than constant activity. The sea, the breeze, and the expansive views created moments of stillness that felt refreshing. For Richa and Sanket, this day perfectly balanced adventure and calm, leaving them energised rather than exhausted.

A Day of Fun at VinWonders

Day four shifted gears slightly with a visit to VinWonders Phu Quoc. This was a day filled with colour, entertainment, and light-hearted fun. From themed zones to engaging attractions, the experience added a playful dimension to their trip.

Later that day, they checked into their next stay, a villa that offered a more private and peaceful atmosphere. The change in accommodation felt thoughtfully timed, allowing them to enjoy both the convenience of a hotel and the comfort of a quieter setting during the latter part of their journey.

Island Hopping and Underwater Encounters

One of the most anticipated days was the island tour with snorkelling. Boarding a speedboat, the couple set out to explore three islands around Phu Quoc. The experience brought them closer to the natural beauty of Vietnam’s waters, with clear seas and vibrant marine life beneath the surface.

Snorkelling offered moments of shared excitement, while the boat rides between islands provided time to relax and enjoy the open sea. The entire excursion was well-managed, with shared transfers running smoothly and enough time at each stop to truly enjoy the surroundings rather than feel rushed.

A Smooth Farewell

The final day arrived quietly. After breakfast, a private transfer took them back to the airport, marking the end of their six-day journey. There was a sense of calm reflection rather than travel fatigue, a sign that the trip had been paced just right.

Looking back, what stood out most for Richa was how effortless everything felt. The itinerary was well planned without being restrictive. Travel was comfortable, drivers were easy to communicate with, and each day flowed naturally into the next. Thrillophilia’s coordination allowed the couple to focus on the experience rather than the logistics.

What Made This Trip Special

This Vietnam holiday was not defined by dramatic highs or packed schedules. Instead, it was memorable because of its balance. Leisure days blended seamlessly with curated experiences. Transfers were smooth, accommodations were comfortable, and there was always enough breathing space in the itinerary.

For Richa Phadake and Sanket Gore, this six-day escape to Phu Quoc became a reminder that travel does not always need to be rushed to be fulfilling. Sometimes, the most meaningful journeys are the ones where everything feels taken care of, allowing you to simply be present.

With memories of ocean views, island adventures, and relaxed evenings, they returned home grateful for an experience that delivered exactly what they had hoped for. And for that, Thrillophilia played a key role in turning a simple plan into a wonderfully smooth and memorable holiday.

Read More: Thrillophilia Vietnam Reviews

Mauritius Diaries: Dishanti Kar & Bidyut Kumar Rakshit’s 6-Day Island Escape with Thrillophilia

Read Dishanti Kar’s Thrillophilia review of her 6-day Mauritius trip with Bidyut Kumar Rakshit with honest reflections from the journey.

Arpit Jain

Some vacations are planned to escape routine, while others are taken to truly slow down and reconnect with beautiful surroundings. For Dishanti Kar and Bidyut Kumar Rakshit, this six-day trip to Mauritius was a blend of both. It was an opportunity to experience a tropical island known for its beaches, cultural depth, and relaxed pace, while also enjoying a thoughtfully planned itinerary that allowed space for rest and exploration.

Booked with Thrillophilia, the journey came together with a clear structure, comfortable arrangements, and guided experiences that showcased Mauritius beyond just its shoreline. While there were a few small areas that could have been smoother, the overall experience remained memorable, calm, and enjoyable.

A Warm Arrival and First Impressions

The journey began on 30th November with their arrival at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. A shared coach transfer was arranged to escort them to their hotel, Laguna Beach Hotel & Spa. The drive offered their first glimpse of the island’s greenery and coastal charm, immediately setting a relaxed mood.

Check-in officially began at 2 PM, and while the couple had requested an early check-in in advance, the hotel was unable to accommodate this. Although slightly disappointing after a long journey, they made the most of the waiting time by exploring nearby areas and easing into the island atmosphere. Once checked in, the comfort of the resort and the welcoming staff helped smooth over the initial delay.

The rest of the day was kept free, allowing them to explore nearby beaches, walk along the shore, and simply relax. The journey began in Port Louis, the capital city, where colonial architecture and modern city life exist side by side. Walking through Place D’Armes, they admired the French-influenced buildings that quietly narrate Mauritius’ past.

A visit to La Citadelle offered panoramic views over the city and harbour, giving them a chance to pause and take in the scale of the surroundings. The stop at Champ de Mars Racecourse added an energetic contrast, known as one of the oldest horse racing tracks in the region. Even without an active race, the atmosphere felt lively and historic.

Time at Caudan Waterfront rounded off the day beautifully. The couple enjoyed strolling along the promenade, browsing shops, and watching the harbour come alive. The first stop was Trou Aux Cerfs, an extinct volcanic crater surrounded by lush greenery. Standing at its edge, Dishanti and Bidyut were struck by the quiet grandeur of the landscape.

From there, the journey continued to Grand Bassin, also known as Ganga Talao, a sacred lake deeply revered by the Hindu community. The peaceful surroundings, temples, and statues created an atmosphere of reflection and calm. It was one of those places where time feels slower, and conversation naturally softens.

The tour concluded at Chamarel’s Seven Coloured Earth, where mineral-rich soil forms striking natural patterns across the ground. For Jawahar Kubendiran and Nirmala Devi Somasundaram, Bali was far more than a destination on the map. It marked their first international trip, a journey that carried excitement, nervous anticipation, and countless questions that first-time travellers often have. From visa worries to airport transfers and local coordination, everything felt new. What they wanted most was a holiday that allowed them to enjoy the experience without constantly worrying about logistics.

That is when they decided to plan their journey with Thrillophilia. From the very first conversation, the clarity of communication gave them confidence. Every detail, from transfers to activities, was explained patiently, and the itinerary was shared well in advance. For Jawahar and Nirmala, that reassurance mattered deeply. Knowing that someone was taking care of the planning allowed them to focus on what truly mattered: experiencing Bali together for the first time.

When Bali Welcomed Them with Ease

Their journey began on 10th December, when they landed in Bali to a warm welcome. A polite and punctual driver was already waiting at the airport with a private SUV, making the arrival smooth and stress-free. The drive to Kuta felt calm, with glimpses of palm-lined roads and the first hints of Bali’s relaxed pace.

Their stay at Tijili Hotel Benoa in Kuta turned out to be exactly what they needed after travelling. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the interiors were simple yet pleasant, and the atmosphere felt peaceful. With no activities planned for the first day, they allowed themselves to slow down. They rested, explored nearby areas, and simply absorbed the feeling of being in a new country together. Sometimes, doing nothing at all is the best way to begin a holiday, and for them, this gentle start set the tone for the days ahead.

A Day That Redefined Beauty – Nusa Penida

If there was one day that truly stayed with them, it was their private West Nusa Penida tour. The island felt unreal, almost as if every view had been carefully placed to surprise them. From the iconic cliffs of Kelingking Beach, shaped like a giant T. rex, to the clear waters of Angel’s Billabong, every stop felt more breathtaking than the last.

They also visited Broken Bay and Bubu Beach, where the natural formations and open views made them pause repeatedly, just to take it all in. Complimentary snorkelling added an adventurous touch to the day, allowing them to explore the underwater world as well. What made the experience even better was how smoothly it was organised. All entry tickets were included, transfers were timely, and the schedule was perfectly paced. There was no rush, only time to enjoy. For Jawahar and Nirmala, Nusa Penida was not just a sightseeing day; it became one of the most memorable chapters of their trip.

Adventure, Culture, and a Touch of Thrill

The third day brought a different kind of excitement. At Tanjung Benoa Beach, Jawahar and Nirmala stepped out of their comfort zones and tried water sports for the first time. Parasailing offered stunning aerial views, banana boat rides brought laughter, and jet skiing added a burst of adrenaline. Despite being beginners, they felt safe throughout, thanks to attentive instructors who ensured everything was handled professionally.

Later in the day, they visited Uluwatu Temple, perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the ocean. As the sun began to set, they watched the Kecak Dance performance. The rhythmic chants, fire-lit movements, and storytelling created a powerful atmosphere. This was their first real encounter with Balinese culture, and it left a lasting impression, blending spirituality, tradition, and art in a way they had never experienced before.

Bali’s Green Heart and a New Stay in Canggu

Day four took them deeper into Bali’s natural beauty. The journey through central Bali felt refreshing, with each stop offering a different view of the island. The cool air of Kintamani, the lush Tegalalang Rice Terraces, and the refreshing Tegenungan Waterfall together created a day filled with greenery and calm.

The Bali Jungle Swing added a playful moment to the day, giving them memories and photographs they would treasure. A complimentary local lunch was a thoughtful inclusion, allowing them to sample Balinese flavours without worrying about arrangements. By evening, they checked into their stay in Canggu, where the atmosphere felt relaxed and youthful. Compared to Kuta, Canggu offered a slower, more laid-back coastal vibe, which they instantly enjoyed.

Mud, Adventure, and Quiet Beauty

The fifth day was all about contrast. The morning began with a 90-minute ATV ride, taking them through muddy trails, village paths, and patches of greenery. It was messy, thrilling, and surprisingly fun. Laughter came easily as they navigated the rough terrain, enjoying the raw, adventurous side of Bali.

Later, the pace slowed completely at Tirta Gangga. The peaceful water gardens, neatly laid stone paths, and flowing fountains offered a calm escape after the morning’s adventure. Walking through the palace grounds felt soothing, allowing them to reflect quietly and recharge before the final day of the trip.

A Smooth Goodbye to Bali

On the final day, everything came together just as smoothly as it had begun. The driver arrived on time for the airport transfer, just as punctual and polite as every other day. As they headed towards the airport, Jawahar and Nirmala reflected on how much they had experienced in just six days, from beaches and cliffs to culture and adventure.

Why This Trip Meant So Much

For first-time international travellers, this Bali trip felt effortless. The drivers were consistently respectful and helpful, often assisting with photos and offering small gestures that made a big difference. The accommodations exceeded expectations, the itinerary was thoughtfully planned, and with all major entry tickets included, there were no last-minute worries or hidden stress.

For Jawahar and Nirmala, this journey was not just a holiday. It was their first step into international travel, made memorable, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable. The experience gave them confidence to travel more, explore further, and trust the process. And that is exactly why this Bali trip, guided by Thrillophilia, will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Read More: Thrillophilia Bali Reviews

Mandeep Purohit’s Europe Journey with Thrillophilia: A Group Adventure Filled With Laughter and Memories

Mandeep and Group’s Europe journey with Thrillophilia was a fun-filled adventure filled with scenic sights, shared laughter, and lasting memories.

Europe Reviews

Sinjini Sarkar

For Mandeep Purohit and the group travelling with him, this holiday was not just a sightseeing trip. It became a shared adventure across countries, marked by laughter, teamwork and the reassuring presence of Thrillophilia’s team throughout the journey. When the group returned home, they did so with a long list of stories and countless photographs, but more importantly, with a sense of joy that only a well-travelled group can understand.

The experience felt organised, enjoyable and full of warmth. Mandeep often recalled how the four coordinators, Deepak Bhai, Anjali, Martha and Yasper, led the group with steady communication and friendly involvement. They were visible, helpful and present during every transition. This steady guidance made the trip smooth for everyone, especially in a packed multi-city itinerary like this one.

What follows is the story of their adventure through Europe, told through the collective spirit that defined their days together.

The Beginning in Paris

The group stepped into Paris with excitement that could be felt instantly. For many, this was their first time in the city, and the mix of anticipation and curiosity gave the day an easy liveliness. After settling at the hotel, the group stepped out to explore a little. Paris welcomed them with bright streets, elegant cafés and corners full of charm.

They wandered through flea markets, sampled food from small eateries and simply absorbed the atmosphere. The day was relaxed, offering everyone the time to recover from the journey while still enjoying their first taste of France. It was an ideal start to a long adventure.

Exploring the Heart of Paris Together

The group’s real Paris experience began the next morning. Their guided city tour turned out to be an enjoyable collective experience. Travelling together allowed everyone to share reactions, take group photos and point out interesting sights along the way.

The Arc de Triomphe, Alexander Bridge and Champs Élysées were admired by all. Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. Visiting the Eiffel Tower and reaching the upper levels created an atmosphere filled with excitement. Looking out over the city, Mandeep noticed how everyone paused at different angles to absorb the view.

Montmartre offered a change of scenery with its artistic charm. The funicular ride became surprisingly fun for the group, almost like a small adventure of its own. The area around the Sacre Coeur Basilica encouraged slow walks, small conversations and bursts of laughter as they explored shops and viewpoints.

The Seine cruise that followed felt like the perfect end to the day. Watching Paris unwind from the deck gave the entire group a quiet moment to take everything in.

A Day of Pure Happiness at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland is known for its colourful atmosphere, and it exceeded every expectation. The group walked into the park with enthusiasm and quickly got pulled into its energy. Some went straight for rides. Others headed towards parades and shows. But no matter which corner they explored, there was always someone from the group nearby, waving, calling out or taking a photo.

This is where the group vibe shone at its brightest. Every thrilling ride was followed by cheerful conversations. Every character meet had everyone smiling. The day was long, lively and unforgettable.

From France to the Netherlands

The next part of the journey took the group to The Hague with a stop in Brussels. Grand Place impressed everyone with its golden facades, and Manneken Pis added a playful detail to their day. Reaching The Hague felt calm and refreshing after the busyness of Paris. It gave the group time to rest and prepare for the next stretch of travel.

The following morning took them toward Frankfurt with a memorable stop in Amsterdam. The canal cruise brought out the group’s easy humour again. Watching the bridges, houses and waterways glide past while sitting together made the boat ride peaceful yet social. It was one of those activities that naturally bonded people.

Through Germany and Into Switzerland

The drive to Schaffhausen was an interesting blend of museums and nature. The Mercedes-Benz Museum fascinated everyone with its displays and historic vehicles. Afterwards, entering the Black Forest added a sense of calm before they continued toward Switzerland.

Rhine Falls became one of the most photographed stops of the entire trip. The sound of the waterfall, the mist and the dramatic setting made it a favourite for the group. It also gave them one of those moments where everyone stepped back to enjoy the beauty around them.

The Wonders of Jungfraujoch and Mt Titlis

Two incredible days shaped the Switzerland chapter of their journey. First came Jungfraujoch. The train rides, the snow, the Ice Palace and the views from the Sphinx Observatory created an experience filled with awe. Walking through the snow together and celebrating the moment made everyone feel connected.

Mt Titlis offered a different style of experience with its rotating cable car, unique bridge walk and panoramic views. Lucerne followed with its Lake Cruise, Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge. These destinations were a blend of serene moments and shared excitement.

Austria’s Beauty and the Charm of Venice

Leaving Switzerland behind, the group travelled through Vaduz and Wattens, visiting the Swarovski Crystal Museum before heading to Innsbruck. Walking through the old town with its cobblestone streets and Alpine backdrop felt refreshing.

The next day brought Venice, one of the trip’s most anticipated stops. The boat ride to St Mark’s Square, the grand basilica and the gondola ride became highlights of the group’s journey. Floating along the canals created a sense of calm and wonder.

Florence, Pisa and the Final Days in Italy

The elegance of Florence and the iconic sight of the Leaning Tower of Pisa gave the group plenty of memories. Their final stop, Rome, added history and grandeur. The Vatican, Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica, Colosseum and Trevi Fountain completed their adventure with impressive views and meaningful experiences.

Throughout this journey, the support from Deepak Bhai, Anjali, Martha and Yasper played an important role. The trip was everything he had hoped for and more. It became a shared adventure where the presence of Thrillophilia’s team made all the difference. What they did not expect was how deeply they would appreciate the people behind the planning. Their trip manager, Gia, left an impression from the very first interaction, and throughout the journey the support they received from Thrillophilia, especially from Bhupeshwar Pal Singh, shaped their confidence in the trip. By the time they returned home, the couple felt that the experience had exceeded every expectation.

Their holiday took them across several countries. Each region carried its own charm, but what held the trip together was the quiet assurance that someone was looking out for them every single day.

Stepping into Paris

The beginning of any long journey often comes with anticipation. When they arrived at the Paris airport, the couple felt both excitement and curiosity. The drive from the airport into the city gave them a first glimpse of Europe’s elegance. Tall buildings, familiar names of fashion houses and the cultural buzz of the streets made Paris feel exactly as they had imagined.

This first day was gentle and flexible. After checking into their hotel, they chose to explore the parts of Paris that drew them in naturally. Boutique stores, artistic cafés and narrow lanes filled with pastries created a warm welcome. The charm of the city made even small explorations feel immersive. They sampled food, took in the sights and let Paris introduce itself in the quiet way it usually does.

A Day of Icons and Cultural Splendor

The next morning shifted the pace. This was the day they explored Paris with a guided tour, and it revealed the city from every angle. Arc de Triomphe stood in its grand form as the roads circled around it. Alexander Bridge glittered with its ornate sculptures. Champs-Élysées lived up to its image, radiant and alive.

The visit to the Eiffel Tower became a core memory. Rising to the third level, they watched Paris spread out beneath them. The rooftops, the Seine, the streets filled with people and movement; it was one of those rare views that take a moment to fully absorb.

Later, they made their way to Montmartre. The funicular carried them easily to the top where the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur waited in calm silence. The white domes, the crowds sitting on the steps and the panoramic views of the city together created a scene that felt timeless.

By evening, the Seine River Cruise closed the day on a soft note. The boat glided past Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum and other illuminated monuments. The reflections in the water and the relaxed pace of the cruise allowed the couple to let the day settle inside their memories.

Rediscovering Joy at Disneyland

There are some travel days that feel like a complete shift from the rest, and Disneyland was one of them. The energy of the park was contagious. Characters waved from parade floats, music played across the lanes and children’s excitement echoed everywhere. Tamang and Phukan walked through the themed worlds, rode attractions and watched performances that made them smile without even realising it.

This day brought out something simple and joyful. It reminded them of the lightness of travel and the beauty of sharing moments that feel carefree.

Crossing Countries and Discovering New Cities

The next morning began with a checkout from the hotel and a long drive toward The Hague. The route included a stop in Brussels, which added cultural richness to their journey. The Grand Place, with its stunning buildings and cobblestone surroundings, made a strong impression. Manneken Pis added a touch of humour and familiarity.

Later they reached Madurodam in The Hague, a miniature world that displayed the Netherlands with intricate detail. It was playful yet informative, and it made the experience memorable. By evening, they checked into their hotel and prepared for another travel-filled day.

Passing Through Amsterdam into Frankfurt

Moving from France to Belgium and now into the Netherlands, the couple felt the cultural layers widening. Amsterdam greeted them with a canal cruise that showed the city in its most authentic form. The narrow houses standing close together, the arched bridges and the water reflecting every ripple of history made the cruise a peaceful moment.

After the ride, they continued toward Frankfurt, where they stayed the night. The day balanced movement and calm very well.

Germany, Switzerland and Scenic Beauty

Another morning led them to Stuttgart, where they visited the Mercedes Benz Museum. The design of the museum, the display of vintage and modern vehicles and the stories behind them made this stop an engaging one.

From Germany they journeyed deeper into the Black Forest region, known for its greenery and fairytale-like charm. Eventually, they reached Schaffhausen in Switzerland. Rhine Falls pulsated with power. The sheer force of the water and the mist rising from the falls created a dramatic end to the day.

Their hotel in Central Switzerland became their base for the next few days.

The Heights of Jungfraujoch

Their journey to Jungfraujoch took them through cableways and a cogwheel train. As they moved higher, snow began to appear, and the views opened wider. At the top, they walked through the Ice Palace and stood at the Sphinx Observatory, which overlooked the Aletsch Glacier.

Being surrounded by snow and standing so high above the world made this day feel exceptional.

Mt. Titlis and Lucerne’s Warmth

Their visit to Mt. Titlis added another highlight. The rotating cable car revealed new views at every angle. At the summit, they experienced the thrill of the Cliff Walk and breathed the crisp mountain air.

Lucerne welcomed them later that day with its bridges, monuments and lakeside charm. A cruise on Lake Lucerne served as a soothing end to the afternoon.

A Journey Through Liechtenstein, Austria and Italy

Vaduz introduced them to the charm of a small capital city. The Swarovski Crystal Museum in Wattens impressed them with its creativity. Innsbruck embraced them with its colourful streets.

From Austria they moved to Venice, sailed the Giudecca Canal and rode a gondola through the narrow waterways. Florence and Pisa offered historic wonders, while Tuscany carried its peaceful landscapes.

Rome and Vatican City concluded the journey beautifully through art, architecture and history.

A Thankful Ending

Tamang and Phukan finished their Europe trip feeling grateful. Their trip manager Gia offered guidance with a personal touch. Bhupeshwar Pal Singh ensured that every detail stayed aligned. The food throughout the journey was excellent. Each day felt well planned, and every moment felt supported.

They returned home with a sense of joy, carrying memories that they will treasure for a long time.

Read More: Thrillophilia Europe Reviews

Southern Skies and Shared Stories: Prakash, Nitin, Akshansh and Saurabh’s Australia Adventure with Thrillophilia

Four friends explore Sydney, Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road and Gold Coast in a flawlessly planned Australia trip with Thrillophilia’s.

Australia Reviews

Sinjini Sarkar

A Plan Born From Restlessness

Prakash had been staring at the same office wall for months when the idea hit him out of nowhere. “We need a break. A real one,” he said on a late-night call.

Nitin agreed instantly. Akshansh, who was scrolling through travel reels, said, “Then let’s actually go somewhere this time.” And Saurabh, the most practical one, added, “Fine. But no last-minute chaos. Proper planning this time.”

That was how it began. Four friends who had travelled through Uttarakhand, Himachal and Goa together suddenly found themselves searching for a destination outside India. They needed something big. Something refreshing. Something far away from routine.

Prakash showed a picture of the Great Ocean Road at sunset. Nitin looked up Australia’s beaches. Akshansh found videos of skydivers above Wollongong. Saurabh discovered Melbourne’s laneways filled with street art.

Within an hour, Australia became the obvious choice. Not just a trip, but an entire adventure.

They reached out to Thrillophilia. After understanding the group’s interests, the team created an itinerary that combined road trips, beaches, city life, wildlife encounters and scenic drives. Everything was sorted. Hotels booked. Transfers planned. Activities lined up.

For the first time in years, a group trip felt effortless.

And with that one final confirmation, the dream became real.

Sydney and the First Glimpse of Freedom

Australia greeted them with clear skies and warm sunlight. Their driver met them at the airport, and within minutes, they were heading into Sydney. The city filled their eyes with tall buildings, busy streets, and the sparkling blue harbour.

The Opera House was their first stop. Saurabh tried photographing it from every angle. Prakash stared quietly at the sails. Nitin said, “This looks unreal.” And Akshansh whispered, “Bhai… hum yaha aa gaye. Actually.”

They walked along Circular Quay, tried gelato, laughed at seagulls stealing fries, and spent the evening at Darling Harbour, where the lights shimmered on the water.

It felt like the start of something big.

The following day, Bondi Beach welcomed them with salty wind and golden waves. Nitin tried surfing and fell off twice. Saurabh recorded it, of course. The others tried the Bondi to Coogee walk, stopping every few minutes for photographs that looked straight out of a travel magazine.

Sydney had energy. A pace. A rhythm. And the boys matched it easily.

Into the Blue Mountains

Their road trip began the next day. Akshansh took the wheel. Prakash controlled the music. Nitin handled navigation. Saurabh took charge of snacks.

The drive to the Blue Mountains was relaxed and filled with laughter. They played old songs, argued about whose playlist was superior and stopped at multiple viewpoints on the way.

At Echo Point, the Three Sisters stood proudly against the deep blue valley. “It looks like a painting,” Nitin said. “Looks like peace,” Prakash corrected him softly.

A short trail took them through eucalyptus forests where the air felt lighter. The mist rolled in slowly. The silence felt sacred. For a moment, none of them spoke.

Later, as they sipped hot chocolate at a tiny mountain café, Saurabh said, “Remember this moment. We’ll miss it someday.”

And they all nodded.

Melbourne’s Charming Chaos

When they landed in Melbourne, the vibe changed instantly. The city felt artistic, expressive and effortlessly cool. Trams ran through the streets, coffee aromas floated everywhere, and every corner held something worth capturing.

At Hosier Lane, graffiti walls burst with colour. Saurabh said, “Take a picture of me here. Instagram pe fire lagega.” Prakash rolled his eyes but clicked anyway.

They explored Federation Square, the Yarra River promenade, Queen Victoria Market and dozens of cafés. Every night ended with stories and jokes in their hotel room. Every morning began with fresh excitement.

Melbourne felt like a city built for long walks and deeper conversations.

The Great Ocean Road and the Joy of Being Alive

The Great Ocean Road drive became the highlight of their journey. Clear skies. Endless ocean. Smooth highways. And the strong smell of the sea.

They stopped at lookouts, beaches, cliff edges and small towns along the route. At one point, Prakash said, “If someone told me this was a movie set, I would believe them.”

The Twelve Apostles stunned them into silence. The sun dipped low, painting the rocks in gold. Waves crashed against the cliffs, sending a low hum into the air.

Standing shoulder to shoulder, the boys felt that rare calmness that only travel brings.

Later that night, back at their hotel, Akshansh said, “This was worth every single hour of planning.”

And no one disagreed.

Wild Moments and Gentle Conversations in Gold Coast

The Gold Coast brought a different thrill. Skyscrapers lining the beach. Endless coastline. A city that woke up early and stayed awake long after sunset.

They visited the Skypoint Tower and watched the world below in sweeping views. They spent an entire afternoon in the ocean, watched surfers ride the waves with impossible ease and enjoyed street food that tasted better under the sun.

One night, they sat on the sand watching the waves in the dark. Nitin said, “We should do this every year.” Prakash replied, “Not should. We will.” And Saurabh added, “Agla trip Thailand? ” Akshansh laughed. “First, let me finish paying for this one.”

But the promise was made.

More Than Just a Trip

On the flight back home, the four friends replayed every moment. The road trips. The jokes. The mistakes. The views that stole their breath. The meals they shared. The peace they found.

It wasn’t just about seeing Australia. It was about seeing life from a different angle. It was about being together in a place far from home. It was about realising that friendships last when memories are created deliberately.

Thrillophilia made the journey effortless from start to finish. The stays were comfortable. The itineraries were clear. The support was timely. And every day felt organised without feeling rushed.

Prakash said it best while waiting at the airport: “We came to Australia, but what we got was something bigger. Something we’ll talk about years from now.”

Four friends. A shared adventure. A continent full of stories they will never forget.

Read more: Thrillophilia Australia Reviews

Thrillophilia Australia Review: Sharma Cousins’ Trip Down Under

The Sharma cousins explore Australia with Thrillophilia, enjoying iconic sights, fun adventures & smooth travel planning throughout their trip.

Australia Reviews

Sinjini Sarkar

For years, the four cousins had talked about taking a big international trip together. Every Diwali gathering, every family wedding, and every late-night reunion ended with the same sentence: “One day, we’ll travel together properly.”

But between jobs, college schedules and the simple chaos of growing up, that one day never came.

Until this year.

It was Anubhav who revived the idea during a casual group call. He said he had been watching travel videos about Australia and jokingly added, “Let’s go before we get too old.” Prachi laughed at the idea, Rishabh said it was impossible, and Parth sent random kangaroo stickers to the group chat.

But curiosity kicked in. They checked flights and packages, and surprisingly, Australia did not seem as unreachable as they once imagined.

Within a few days, the excitement grew into a plan. Thrillophilia’s Australia packages caught their attention because everything was clear: stays, transfers, activities and city experiences were organised neatly. The team helped them customise the itinerary, balance adventure with relaxation, and finalise bookings without stress.

What started as a random thought turned into the cousins’ biggest adventure yet.

Sydney and the First Glimpse of the Pacific

Their journey began in Sydney, where the air smelt like the sea and the city buzzed with easy confidence.

The airport pickup felt effortless. Their hotel was central, clean and surprisingly cosy. Rishabh immediately claimed the bed by the window. Parth was more fascinated by the room service menu.

They spent their first evening strolling along Circular Quay. The Sydney Opera House stood like a white sculpture, glowing softly under the evening sky.

Prachi whispered, “It feels unreal, seeing this in front of us.”

Anubhav nodded, trying to fit the entire view into a single photograph.

Dinner at Darling Harbour turned into one of their best memories. Street musicians played nearby, boats glided smoothly across the water, and the cousins joked about childhood pranks like no time had passed.

Blue Mountains and the Joy of Clumsy Adventure

Their second day took them out of the city and straight into nature. The Blue Mountains felt like a different world. The cold air, the eucalyptus scent and the vast valleys reminded them why Australia was known for its landscapes.

At Echo Point, they stared at the Three Sisters rock formation, each trying to guess the ancient legend behind it.

While riding the Scenic Railway, Parth yelled, “This is vertical!” even though it wasn’t. Rishabh attempted to act brave but held on tightly when the track steepened.

The cousins laughed the entire way. It was the kind of laughter that comes from shared history, inside jokes and years of growing up together.

Gold Coast and the Sunny Days That Followed

The transition from Sydney to the Gold Coast felt like stepping into a glossy postcard. Their hotel overlooked the beach, and the sound of waves made everything feel slower and lighter.

Surfers Paradise instantly won their hearts.

Prachi bought a hat she did not need.

Rishabh tried surfing for exactly three minutes before giving up.

Anubhav and Parth argued about whether the water was too cold, then jumped in anyway.

Their day at Warner Bros. Movie World was full of chaotic fun. Rishabh pretended he was too mature for theme parks, but one ride on the roller coaster had him screaming louder than everyone else.

Prachi clicked pictures with every character she saw. Parth bought popcorn twice.

SeaWorld the next day was calmer and more magical. Dolphin shows, aquariums, and the sight of penguins waddling on ice made the entire group smile quietly.

They ended the evening lying on the sand, watching the sky shift into shades of gold.

Melbourne and the Coastal Road That Felt Endless

The final chapter of their Australian adventure took place in Melbourne, a city filled with art, music and incredible coffee.

They walked through Hosier Lane, admiring murals that looked like they belonged in galleries. Anubhav tried to take aesthetic photos of everyone, while Rishabh photobombed every single one.

The Great Ocean Road trip felt like the highlight they didn’t expect.

Long stretches of coastline, cliffs dramatically rising over the sea, and the famous Twelve Apostles glowing under the late afternoon sun – everything felt peaceful and grand.

At one lookout point, the four cousins simply stood together without talking.

Prachi finally said, “I’m glad we did this. We needed it.”

No one disagreed.

Why Their Trip Worked So Smoothly

As their final day approached, they looked back at the journey and realised how easy everything had felt.

There were no last-minute confusions, no missing transfers, and no rushed activity bookings. Every step had been guided clearly by the Thrillophilia team.

Their destination expert had helped them understand distances and timings between cities, choose the right activities for their group and make practical decisions about flights and stays.

Even during the trip, the updates shared by the Thrillophilia support team kept everything organised.

Parth said it best: “I don’t think we could have planned this entire trip alone without losing our minds.”

A Cousin Trip They Will Talk About for Years

From the Opera House to the Gold Coast waves, from wild theme park rides to the quiet beauty of the Apostles, their Australia trip became more than a vacation.

It became a reminder that growing up does not have to mean drifting apart.

On the flight back home, Prachi said, “Let’s not wait years again. Let’s plan the next one soon.”

The cousins nodded, already dreaming of where their next chapter would be written.

Australia gave them memories they will hold on to forever. Kerala opened its arms with skies deep and blue; every sunrise felt new, every moment felt true. From oceans to hilltops, memories grew bright; in God’s Own Country, everything felt just right.

In the peaceful charm of Kerala, Dhaval Patel and two close families began a journey together, carrying excitement, curiosity and the hope of creating unforgettable memories. With young children, relaxed parents and the promise of nature all around them, this holiday felt like a perfect escape.

Arrival in Trivandrum: Toward the Calm of Kovalam

The two families landed in Trivandrum early in the morning. Their representative greeted them with a smile and said, “Welcome to Kerala. Your adventure begins now.”

The children stood close to their parents, curious and excited. “Are we going to the beach now?” one of them asked. “Yes, after breakfast,” Dhaval replied, smiling.

Their first stop was the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple, where ancient stone carvings and peaceful corridors created a serene start to the holiday. The families walked quietly, taking in the grandeur of the place.

From there, they headed to Kovalam Beach, where the waves rolled gently onto the shore. The children began playing instantly, running barefoot on the sand. One of the mothers said, “Look at them. They could stay here all day.”

They also explored the Napier Museum, admiring the art, sculptures and heritage pieces. By sunset, the families stood together watching the golden light fade over the sea.

They returned to the hotel, feeling refreshed from their first day.

Kovalam to Kanyakumari: A Day at the Edge of India

The next morning, after breakfast, they began a scenic coastal drive to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India. The ocean stretched endlessly beside them.

One child pointed excitedly, “Is this where the seas meet?” “Yes,” Dhaval told him gently, “All three, right here.”

They visited the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, accessible by ferry. Standing on the rock with the wind brushing their faces, the families felt a sense of peace.

The towering Thiruvalluvar Statue rose proudly against the sky. The children stared in awe. “He looks like he is protecting the ocean,” one whispered.

At the Triveni Sangam, where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean meet, the families felt the spiritual calm of the place.

Before leaving, they watched the sun sink slowly into the sea. “This is priceless,” Dhaval said softly. Everyone agreed.

They returned to Kovalam for the night.

Kovalam to Alleppey: Entering the Backwaters

The next morning, they checked out and drove toward Alleppey, excited for the houseboat experience. When they finally saw the beautiful wooden boat waiting for them, the children’s faces lit up.

“This is our home for today?” a child asked in disbelief. “Yes,” Dhaval laughed, “we’re going to sail.”

Once on board, the boat glided through backwaters lined with coconut trees and small traditional homes. Villagers waved from the shore. Birds flew close to the water.

The two families enjoyed a peaceful cruise past Alleppey villages, small temples and the lighthouse area. The children leaned over the railing, pointing at boats passing by.

The staff served delicious meals on board while the scenery moved gently around them. One mother whispered, “This is the calmest day I’ve had in years.”

As evening arrived, the families sat together watching the sky turn orange and pink over the water.

They spent the night in Alleppey, grateful for the peaceful experience.

Alleppey to Thekkady: From Water to Wilderness

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, they left for Thekkady, where forests and wildlife awaited them. The air grew cooler and the trees taller as they travelled uphill.

At the hotel, they checked in and rested before their sightseeing tour.

Their first stop was Periyar Lake, where they enjoyed a boat ride through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The still water reflected the forest around them. “Look, deer,” one of the children pointed excitedly. “And maybe elephants, if we are lucky,” Dhaval added.

They also explored options like the elephant ride, jeep safari and spice plantations. The markets in Thekkady were lively, filled with fresh spices and handmade products. The families bought souvenirs and sampled local treats.

They ended the day with warm conversations and good food.

Thekkady to Munnar: Hills, Tea Gardens and Fresh Breeze

After breakfast, they began the drive to Munnar, Kerala’s beloved hill station. A world they had admired from afar. A world of precision, politeness and quiet discipline. When they finally decided to spend twelve days exploring the country, they wanted the journey to feel smooth, safe and well supported. Thrillophilia stepped in as a steady companion, arranging everything end to end so that the couple could simply immerse themselves in the experience without worrying about logistics.

From their first call with the Thrillophilia team, they felt reassured. Every query was answered promptly, every doubt handled with care and every request noted with patience. Archana often joked that their support team seemed to have the stamina of a robot, given their round the clock availability. Krishna would laugh and say that this was exactly what senior travellers needed, someone to keep things comfortable without fuss. By the time they boarded their flight to Tokyo, they already felt they were in reliable hands.

A Gentle Welcome to Tokyo

Tokyo was their introduction to Japan and the city carved itself into their memories instantly. Unlike the chaos they expected from a large metropolis, Tokyo moved with a rhythm that felt unbelievably orderly. People walked with purpose, traffic flowed without confusion and the entire city radiated a calm sense of awareness.

Their Tokyo sightseeing included the classic favourites. They visited Sensoji Temple, wandered along Nakamise Street with its charming shops and spent time admiring the skyline from modern viewpoints. What touched them most, however, was the way locals behaved. People waited patiently, bowed with sincerity and maintained a sense of quiet respect even in crowded areas. Krishna kept saying that India could learn a million things from Japan, starting with the simple art of waiting one’s turn. Archana nodded each time and replied that it felt like a glimpse of what perfect civic sense looked like.

During their city exploration, the couple also enjoyed peaceful gardens, spotless streets and food served with such grace that even a simple bowl of noodles felt elevated. Tokyo to them was proof that modernity and discipline could coexist peacefully.

A Day with Mount Fuji and the Serenity of Hakone

Their next big experience was the excursion to Mount Fuji and Hakone. To see the remarkable silhouette of Mount Fuji rising in the distance was a moment they knew they would never forget. Krishna, who usually kept his reactions calm, stood quietly for several minutes just taking it all in. Archana captured photos but admitted later that no lens could truly express the calmness the mountain evoked.

The Hakone experience added a soothing contrast. They rode the ropeway, enjoyed the views of Lake Ashi and felt enveloped by the gentle coolness of the region. For them, the day offered both grandeur and peace, reminding them of the importance of stepping into nature’s stillness.

Kyoto and Nara, A Walk Into Heritage

If Tokyo was a showcase of the future, Kyoto was a bridge to the past. Their excursion to Kyoto and Nara felt like stepping into a living museum where every turn revealed temples that carried centuries of devotion. Archana especially admired the architecture and the wooden details of old shrines. Krishna found himself fascinated by the stories shared by guides, especially the symbolism behind the massive temple gates.

Nara brought a different sort of joy. Seeing the deer roam freely through Nara Park was delightful and, at times, amusing. Krishna joked that the deer behaved more politely than some humans he encountered elsewhere in the world. The couple marvelled at the Great Buddha of Todai ji Temple and carried back with them a renewed respect for Japan’s ancient traditions.

Osaka, A Day of Culture and Comfortable Chaos

The Ultimate Osaka Day Tour became one of their favourites. Osaka felt different from Tokyo and Kyoto. It had its own personality, lively and warm. The couple enjoyed visiting Osaka Castle with its historical charm and later wandered through vibrant districts that offered delicious snacks and local energy. The day was engaging without being overwhelming and offered a wonderful contrast to the quiet of Kyoto. Their guide shared stories of samurai battles, castle reconstructions and modern Osaka life. Krishna later said that Osaka was the perfect blend of traditional spirit and urban heartbeat.

A Powerful Experience in Hiroshima and Miyajima

The Hiroshima and Miyajima tour moved them deeply. Hiroshima was not an easy place to visit emotionally, but both felt it was important to understand the weight of history. They spent time at the Peace Memorial and the Atomic Bomb Dome, reflecting quietly on how resilient the city had become in the decades since the tragedy. Archana was especially touched by the Children’s Peace Monument and the messages of hope displayed there.

Miyajima Island offered peace after the emotional heaviness of Hiroshima. The couple loved the gentle atmosphere, the floating torii gate and the picturesque views. For them, the day brought both reflection and healing.

The Hokkaido Chapter: Snow, Silence and Scenic Beauty

For the final stretch of their trip, the couple travelled to Hokkaido, beginning with Sapporo. The city had a crisp atmosphere and a cooler climate that instantly refreshed them. They enjoyed exploring local markets, tasting fresh seafood and observing how different Hokkaido felt from mainland Japan.

Their journey continued to Noboribetsu with its geothermal landscapes and dramatic valley views. The steaming vents, bubbling pools and rugged terrain fascinated them. Krishna said it reminded him of nature’s enormous power while Archana noted that it felt like being on another planet entirely.

Lake Toya and Niseko wrapped up their Hokkaido experience with scenic perfection. The calm waters of Lake Toya, surrounded by rolling hills, felt almost meditative. Niseko, known for its winters, charmed them even without snow. They enjoyed quiet walks and peaceful landscapes that offered the perfect end to a long journey.

A Journey Made Effortless

What stayed constant throughout their twelve days in Japan was the seamless organisation by Thrillophilia. The couple emphasised that every transfer, hotel stay and day tour was arranged with such precision that they never once felt stressed. They appreciated how every small requirement was acknowledged and addressed. For senior travellers, this level of reliability brought immense comfort.

Their testimonial summarised their feelings best. They felt cared for, supported at every moment and free to enjoy the country without worrying about logistics. Japan, in return, offered them discipline, beauty and a refreshing example of how society could function.

Archana and Krishna returned home with full hearts and a renewed appreciation for travel. Japan, they said, was unlike any other country they had visited. And Thrillophilia had ensured that their journey remained memorable from start to finish.

Read More: Thrillophilia Japan Reviews

A Passport to New Beginnings: Navya, Vinay & Their Boys Explore Singapore with Thrillophilia

Navya & family set out on a beautiful Singapore journey with Thrillophilia, discovering new experiences and creating beautiful memories together.

Singapore Reviews

Sinjini Sarkar

It was a trip they had spoken about for years.

Sometimes casually over dinner, sometimes seriously while saving up, and sometimes as a quiet dream that always felt a little far away. Singapore had been on their minds long before their kids were old enough to even pronounce the word “holiday”.

So when Navya and Vinay finally booked their first international trip as a family of four, it felt like a milestone – not just for them as parents, but also for their boys, who were excited in the way only children can be. There were questions, wide smiles, and the simple joy of knowing they were about to step into a world they had only seen in videos.

“This time, it finally feels real,” Navya had said on the night before their flight. And that sense of disbelief stayed with them right until they landed.

What followed over the next five days was a story of wonder, laughter, little surprises, and the unforgettable feeling of experiencing something ‘new’ together.

The First Day: A Calm Start & a River Adventure

Their Singapore journey truly began at River Wonders, and for the boys, it was magic from the very first minute. They loved the idea of “visiting animals through rivers”, and Navya found herself smiling simply watching their excitement.

The Amazon River Quest Boat Ride became the unexpected highlight. The gentle movement of the boat, the thrill of spotting wildlife, and the kids’ nonstop chatter created the kind of memories that feel warm even as they fade. Vinay kept pointing things out, the boys kept asking questions, and Navya quietly absorbed how happy they all looked.

The slow pace of the day worked beautifully.

No rush, no crowds, just a peaceful start to a trip they had waited too long for.

City Sights, Sky Views & a World of Gardens

Day 2 brought the kind of sightseeing that makes Singapore what it is – organised, vibrant, and endlessly interesting.

The kids loved Merlion Park, mostly because they found the half-lion-half-fish idea “very cool”. Navya loved Helix Bridge for its stunning design, while Vinay enjoyed the short stop at the ArtScience Museum, appreciating the architecture more than he expected.

But the moment that stayed with all four of them was stepping onto the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark. “It feels like the whole city is glowing,” Vinay said quietly, holding his younger son’s hand as they both looked down at the endless skyline. The boys kept trying to spot familiar landmarks from above, turning it into a fun little game.

And just when they thought the day couldn’t get more beautiful, they entered the dreamy world of Gardens by the Bay. The Cloud Forest was like stepping into a movie set: misty, cool, and green from every corner. The Flower Dome brought bursts of colour, while the SuperTree Grove left them staring upwards in awe.

It was a day that felt full, but never overwhelming… the perfect balance for a family travelling for the first time internationally.

Universal Studios: The Day the Kids Will Never Forget

Their third day was dedicated entirely to Universal Studios, and the boys woke up with the kind of excitement parents find priceless. From the moment they walked through the gates, it became a day of smiles, photos, and little moments that every family collects on holidays.

They laughed in Madagascar, screamed joyfully in Sci-Fi City, walked through New York, explored Ancient Egypt, and watched the boys’ faces light up in Far Far Away.

Navya kept saying, “Watching them enjoy this is the real joy of the trip,” and Vinay couldn’t agree more. The family moved at their own pace, enjoying every corner of the park without feeling rushed.

By the end of the day, the kids seemed tired but in the happiest way possible – the way only a theme-park day can make you feel.

Sentosa: Cable Cars, the Aquarium & a Magical Evening

Day 4 was Sentosa – a place that feels built for families like theirs.

The ride on the Singapore Cable Car was peaceful and scenic. The boys pressed their faces to the glass, excitedly pointing at everything down below. Navya felt a wave of calm looking at the coastline, the greenery, and the city meeting the sea.

At the Singapore Oceanarium, the family moved slowly, taking in the glowing blue world around them – sharks gliding past, colourful fish swirling together, and huge glass tunnels that made the kids feel like they were walking underwater.

But the best part of the day revealed itself in the evening: Wings of Time. As lights, water, music, and special effects blended into one beautiful show, Navya and Vinay shared a quiet moment watching their children: eyes wide, smiles bright, completely absorbed.

It felt like the perfect ending to a perfect day.

The Last Morning & Their Thoughts on Thrillophilia

On the final morning, as they packed up, there was a shared feeling among all four - gratitude. Gratitude for the experience, for the memories, and for the fact that their first international trip went smoother than they had imagined.

Navya later shared:

“I was initially sceptical about booking with Thrillophilia, but they proved they’re among the best travel companies. Every itinerary was well planned. We messed up our city tour timings, and yet their team handled everything perfectly. Gaurav, especially, was incredibly knowledgeable and took full responsibility for our travel experience. Not once did we feel rushed. Pickups, drops, everything was patient, smooth, and well-timed. They spent their initial days soaking in the quiet charm of local villages and temples.

A relaxed first evening took them to Celuk Village, where the detailed silverwork fascinated them – artisans shaping delicate jewellery entirely by hand. The visit to Tirta Empul Temple added a cultural touch, with its sacred spring, serene courtyards and classic Balinese architecture offering a peaceful retreat after a long journey.

Their second day opened with the cool air of Kintamani Highlands, where views of Mount Batur and its volcanic landscapes set the tone for an experience-rich day. A stop at a local coffee plantation added warmth – quite literally – as they learned about Balinese brewing techniques and tasted freshly made coffee.

The day flowed seamlessly from nature to adventure. At Tegenungan Waterfall, they enjoyed the refreshing spray and lush surroundings, followed by the picture-perfect Tegalalang Rice Terrace, where the emerald-green fields seemed to stretch endlessly. And then came a moment of pure thrill – the Bali Jungle Swing, giving them a sweeping view of Ubud’s valleys as they soared above tropical greenery.

On the next day, they explored Ubud’s cultural treasures – starting with the gentle, scenic Campuhan Ridge Walk, a trail that feels like walking through a painting. Later, they wandered through the lively Ubud Art Market, browsing handmade silk scarves, statues and local crafts. Their visit to Ubud Palace brought traditional Balinese architecture alive, with its ornate carvings and tranquil courtyards.

This slow, immersive start became the foundation of their entire holiday – peaceful mornings, scenic landscapes and moments that reminded them why they loved travelling together.

Bali’s Northern Wonders: Lakes, Gates & Iconic Sunsets

After Ubud's soothing pace, the trip shifted to the dramatic beauty of North and West Bali.

The first major stop was the iconic Handara Gate – framed by mountains, clouds and manicured lawns. Its signature symmetry and intricate stonework made it one of the most photogenic spots of their journey.

Next came a postcard-worthy setting at Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, floating on the tranquil waters of Lake Bratan. The misty mountains, calm lake and temple shrines created a beautiful mix of spirituality and scenery.

Their afternoon ended at Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali’s most iconic sea temples, where crashing waves and golden-hour light blended into a perfect sunset. Standing together on the cliffs, watching the sky turn shades of orange and pink, was one of their favourite memories from the trip.

This section of the journey brought them a refreshing contrast – from Ubud’s forests to Bali’s dramatic lakes and ocean views – each place with its own rhythm and story.

Island Adventures: Nusa Penida’s Cliffs, Bays & Blue Waters

A trip to Bali isn’t complete without exploring its stunning offshore islands – and their day at Nusa Penida West became one of the most memorable highlights.

Their ferry ride from Sanur took them to rugged cliffs, sparkling beaches and clear turquoise waters.

The first stop, Kelingking Beach, instantly stole the show. The T-rex-shaped cliff, lush landscapes and sweeping views made it an unforgettable spot. They captured photos, admired the dramatic drop to the shoreline and took in the natural beauty.

At Angel’s Billabong, they marvelled at the natural infinity pool carved by the ocean, while Broken Bay impressed them with its massive archway created over centuries by the sea. The day wrapped up at Crystal Bay, where soft sands, gentle waves and a relaxing coastal atmosphere let them unwind before heading back.

Nusa Penida brought adventure, wonder and a hint of wild beauty – the kind that stays with you long after the trip ends.

Clifftop Views & Cultural Evenings: Uluwatu’s Spellbinding Sunset

Their final full day was reserved for the dramatic cliffs of Uluwatu Temple, perched high above the Indian Ocean. The city had a lively atmosphere, and cherry blossoms were just beginning to bloom. The best thing was that his wife did not know that he had planned a full 10-day celebration just for her.

They checked into their hotel, dropped off their luggage, and took a slow evening walk. The vending machines on the streets of Tokyo were glowing on every corner.

Into the Beauty of Mount Fuji

The next morning, their journey began with a day trip to Mount Fuji. They first visited Lake Kawaguchiko, which reflected the snowy peak of Mount Fuji. They took a boat ride and soaked in the fresh air.

From there, they moved to Oishi Park, where bright flowers lined the path and gave them the perfect view of the mountain in the distance.

They also saw crystal-clear ponds at Oshino Hakkai that were created from Mount Fuji’s springs. They dipped their hands in the pond but then immediately withdrew as the water was very cold.

Then, they went to Arakurayama Sengen Park, which is famous for its cherry blossoms and the Chureito Pagoda. From there, the view of the pagoda, pink blossoms, and Mount Fuji looked beautiful.

Before ending their day trip, they stopped by the Fuji Sengen Shrine and soaked in the peaceful atmosphere.

Lastly, they explored the Gotemba Premium Outlets, where they browsed through stores with Mount Fuji in the background. They also visited the 5th Station, which sits 2,300 metres up the mountain. It was cold, but the view and the energy of the place were worth every step.

Exploring the Icons of Tokyo

The third day of their trip was filled with excitement as they explored the centre of Tokyo. They went to the oldest temple in Tokyo, called the Sensoji Temple. Lanterns, incense, and the prayer sound made the morning feel special. Ajaykumar bought a pendant from one of the shops nearby and kept it quietly in his backpack.

Next, they visited Meiji Jingu Shrine, surrounded by a huge forest. Then they stopped by Odaiba Park and saw the gorgeous views of Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge. They also saw the famous Shibuya Crossing, where hundreds of people walk in every direction at once.

They continued walking to the lively Tsukiji Fish Market to try fresh sushi. Afterwards, they visited both Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower for panoramic views of the city.

At the base of Tokyo Tower, Ajaykumar handed his wife the small box he had been hiding. Inside was the pendant from Sensoji. “Happy birthday,” he said. She smiled, hugged him tightly, and said, “You are making this the best birthday ever.”

Light, Art, and Sky Views

The next day, they visited TeamLab Planets. It was an immersive digital art museum where they walked barefoot through glowing rooms and floating flowers. His wife especially loved the water room where lights danced across the surface with every step.

Later, they went up to Shibuya Sky, a rooftop observation deck above the busy city. From there, they saw Tokyo stretch endlessly in all directions. As the sun went down, the city lit up like stars on Earth.

Nature and History in Nikko

They went to Nikko city on the 5th day. At the Kirifuri Waterfalls, they enjoyed the misty air and the rushing sound of water echoing through the trees. They also admired the detailed carvings and gold leaf decorations at Nikkō Tōshō-gū Shrine. It was unlike any shrine they had seen before.

Moreover, they walked across the red Shinkyo Bridge. Then they made their way to Chuzenji Lake, where they sat peacefully at the foot of the mountains. It is a perfect place to just sit and enjoy the view.

Lastly, they visited the powerful Kegon Falls and the serene Rinno-ji Temple.

Fast Tracks and Fresh Starts in Osaka

On the sixth day, they took the bullet train to Osaka. It was Ajaykumar’s first time on a Shinkansen, and he could not believe how fast and smooth it was. The countryside went by the window, and in just a few hours, they had arrived.

They rested that day and saved their energy for what was next.

The next morning, they woke up early and went on a trip to Naka Park, where a deer approached her. His wife fed them, laughed, and even posed for pictures with one of them nibbling at her sleeve. At Todai-ji Temple, they stood at the massive bronze Buddha and the tall wooden gate.

From Nara, they travelled to Kyoto. Their first stop there was the peaceful Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Walking between the tall bamboo stalks felt like a dream. They then visited Tenryu-ji Temple, a Zen temple surrounded by calm gardens and koi ponds.

They also went to the shining Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji). The gold-covered temple looked like a jewel under the afternoon sun. Finally, they ended the day at Fushimi Inari Shrine, where they walked hand in hand through thousands of red torii gates. With expectations high and curiosity in their hearts, they relied on Thrillophilia to craft a seamless and enjoyable experience that would accommodate the needs of both adults and a young child. From the beginning, the planning was meticulous, and the couple found themselves eagerly anticipating every detail.

The journey began with visa assistance and flight bookings arranged well in advance. Thrillophilia made the process effortless, allowing Rakshitha and Prahalath to focus on the excitement of travelling rather than the logistics. Upon arrival in Japan, transfers were smooth and timely. Each airport pickup was coordinated perfectly, and the family was greeted with warmth and efficiency. The comfort of knowing that every transfer, every booking, and every itinerary detail was already taken care of allowed them to step into the country feeling relaxed and ready to explore.

Their first destination in Japan was Tokyo, a city where modernity and tradition coexist effortlessly. Skyscrapers reached for the clouds while ancient temples stood quietly among the bustling streets. Rakshitha and Prahalath marvelled at the contrast, exploring neighbourhoods filled with neon lights, shopping streets lined with colourful signs, and tranquil parks tucked between city blocks. Travelling with their toddler added a layer of careful planning, but Thrillophilia had arranged accommodations that were family-friendly, spacious, and conveniently located, making city exploration manageable and enjoyable.

As they moved from one neighbourhood to the next, they visited iconic landmarks like the Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. The vibrant colours, incense-filled air, and intricate architecture sparked curiosity and wonder. Their toddler’s laughter echoed through the streets as they sampled street food and explored small shops filled with toys and traditional crafts. The family quickly learnt to pace their days, balancing sightseeing with rest periods to ensure the child remained comfortable and happy.

Next on their itinerary was Kyoto, a city that spoke of Japan’s history and elegance. Here, the family wandered through bamboo forests and ancient temples, with quiet garden paths offering moments of reflection and calm. The couple appreciated how the trip was structured, providing ample time at each location without feeling rushed. Visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of vermilion torii gates became a highlight of their trip. The vibrant paths seemed endless, and Rakshitha found herself photographing every angle, capturing the beauty of the city while Prahalath guided their daughter carefully along the trail.

Another unforgettable part of their journey was the day trips to nearby towns, which included scenic train rides and local experiences that introduced them to Japanese culture and cuisine. Meals were well-planned, ensuring that family-friendly options were always available. From tasting delicate sushi to trying freshly prepared street snacks, each meal became a shared adventure that was both delicious and educational. The couple found joy in introducing their toddler to new tastes and textures, witnessing her delight at each new flavour.

Every step of the trip reflected Thrillophilia’s commitment to detail. The team’s customer support maintained regular contact, checking in frequently to ensure the family had no difficulties. The gentle patter of raindrops, the lush greenery, and the scent of wet earth combined to create a serene and immersive moment. Their toddler played in the shallow puddles under careful supervision, and Rakshitha felt a profound sense of joy and gratitude for this family moment, amplified by the flawless planning that had brought them to such a peaceful spot at the right time.

The trip also included visits to bustling markets, cultural centres, and interactive museums. Each day blended exploration with relaxation, allowing the family to create lasting memories without feeling hurried. Even the transitions between cities were comfortable and stress-free, thanks to pre-arranged transfers and detailed schedules. Their toddler adapted remarkably well, a testament to the thoughtful pacing and arrangements made by Thrillophilia.

By the end of the journey, Rakshitha and Prahalath had experienced the full spectrum of Japan’s offerings. They returned home with a camera full of photos capturing neon-lit streets, serene temples, and joyous family moments. Beyond the photographs, they carried with them the intangible treasures of laughter, shared discoveries, and the sense of ease that comes from having a well-organised itinerary. The trip had been smooth, enjoyable, and filled with moments that would remain vivid in their memories for years to come.

Reflecting on their journey, Rakshitha remarked on how effortless and enjoyable the trip had been. Everything from visa assistance, hotel bookings, and day trips to airport transfers was delivered as planned and on time. There was no need to call customer support, yet the team checked in frequently to ensure everything was going smoothly. When they finally set foot in Hanoi on the afternoon of 20 July 2025, the city greeted them with its buzzing streets and a kind of old world charm. Their driver was waiting at Noi Bai International Airport with a neatly kept sedan, ready to take them to La Passion Classic Hotel. It was comforting to see that the arrangements were precise and punctual, setting the tone for the days to come.

That evening, after a short rest at the hotel, they wandered towards the famous Train Street. The narrow passage, flanked by houses and cafés, came alive whenever the train thundered through. With cups of Vietnamese coffee in their hands, they felt as if they were a part of something raw and real, an introduction to Hanoi’s character that was equal parts thrilling and intimate.

The following morning unfolded gently with a hearty breakfast before the couple made their way to Mega Grand World, fondly called Little Venice. They glided on a gondola boat, its gentle rhythm carrying them through Venetian style canals. For a moment, it felt as though Europe had stitched itself into Asia. Later in the evening, a private candlelit dinner awaited them. Under the soft glow of lanterns and the quiet rustle of the city, Siddharth and Aarchee found themselves talking about everything and nothing, grateful for the rare stillness in the midst of travel.

Their third day took them away from the bustle of Hanoi and out towards Halong Bay. The bus ride to Tuan Chau Marina revealed glimpses of the countryside, with fields rolling past like endless green carpets. Once aboard the cruise, the vastness of the bay opened up before them. Limestone cliffs rose from the water, sculpted by centuries into shapes that stirred imagination. They drifted past Duck Islet and Ong Cam, stopped at sandy beaches, and even tried their hand at cooking Vietnamese dishes. As the day drew to a close, Siddharth remarked how the experience felt like slipping into a dream.

The journey moved forward with a morning flight to Da Nang on the fourth day. Upon arrival, they checked into Cicilia Hotel and later explored Vin Wonders Hoi An. The amusement and cultural park was lively, yet what left the strongest mark was the short time they spent simply walking together in Hoi An town. Its lantern lit streets felt like a painting come to life. That evening they reflected on how every corner of the city had a story to tell, from its architecture to the scents drifting out of food stalls.

The fifth day was dedicated to deeper experiences in Hoi An. They sailed through the Coconut Forest, the air scented with fresh palms and the sound of water lapping at the sides of the boat. The afternoon walking tour through the UNESCO heritage town introduced them to old assembly halls, traditional markets, and quiet courtyards. As the night market came alive with lanterns, they found themselves lost in the colours, sounds, and tastes of the place.

On the sixth day they set out for Ba Na Hills. The cable car ride to Marseille Station lifted them above thick clouds, each passing minute revealing new layers of mountains and valleys. At the Golden Hand Bridge, suspended nearly 1000 feet above sea level, they stood in awe of the panoramic view. The scale of the bridge, cradled by giant sculpted hands, was surreal. They explored the Linh Ung Pagoda, admired the calm presence of the statues, and even wandered into the Debay Wine Cellar and Fantasy Park. At one point, there was a small hiccup when their return transfer seemed slightly delayed, but a quick call settled everything and the cab arrived promptly. Siddharth and Aarchee appreciated how smoothly things were handled by Thrillophilia and how it never disrupted the flow of their day.

The seventh morning arrived sooner than they had hoped. They checked out of the hotel, were driven to the airport, and flew back to Hanoi for their onward journey. As they looked out of the plane window, both silently replayed the past week, trying to hold on to each little detail.

What struck them most when they thought back on the trip was not only the places they had visited, but the ease with which they were able to immerse themselves in every moment. From the bustling energy of Train Street to the still waters of Halong Bay, from the lantern lit charm of Hoi An to the sky bound grandeur of Ba Na Hills, each day unfolded seamlessly. The cabs were clean and always on time, the guides in Hoi An and Ba Na Hills were deeply knowledgeable and genuinely warm, and the whole plan seemed to flow like a carefully composed piece of music.

For Siddharth and Aarchee, this was more than just a holiday. It was a shared journey that deepened their connection, gave them stories to treasure, and moments to carry forward. They felt grateful that the arrangements through Thrillophilia allowed them to focus on simply being present, rather than worrying about logistics. As they spoke about their time in Vietnam, they found themselves smiling at the memory of each small discovery and each shared laugh.

Read More: Thrillophilia Vietnam Reviews
